“Whoo’s” the Little Cutie?

Last week I posted about the decor in my bathroom. Since I had enough storage in the cabinet I decided to add some small shelves. They made the stripes 3D because they were the same color and width as the stripes.

I grabbed a few things that I had around the house

• an old drawer from a library desk. No, I never had the desk….just the drawer. I thought it was perfect for holding items for guests
• a subway sign I made
• a picture of the Hubs and I and our pup
• and some little restrooms signs that started out in my master but would never stay on the wall.

I started piecing it together and got this little collage:

It needed more so I gathered some items around the house and bought a few from the dollar store. In comes this little $1 cutie…or should I say “hootie”.

After some primer and some navy blue paint…he turned into this little guy:

He just makes me smile. I found these cute free printables online and cropped them to fit a frame I had leftover from my living room gallery.

I grabbed one of my white vases that I have used for Debbie’s wedding and wrapped it with some yarn. Now, it just needs some flowers. Lets be honest, those will come when the guest arrive.

I put it all together and I have got this:

Here is the shelves in all it’s glory. I am still looking for the perfect thing on the top shelf.
