A few months ago I was contemplating making the change from blonde to brown. Here is my hair color after a good $75 blonde highlight session.
Well, I didn’t do it because I was heading into three months of directing a sports camp. Why spend moolah for it to go up in a ponytail or braid all summer. On top of that, lake water and chlorine couldn’t be good for newly colored hair. Well today I made the change. I have been holding onto blonde for my entire life. Well, actually I truly was a blonde until half way through college and it started getting darker like my parents (who both have dark brown hair). I am sick of fighting the battle. So I went for my actual color.
Of course my blonde photo was taken by a professional photographer and I got all done up. This is me right before going on a run…no make up. Just keeping it real for ya. Maybe I will take a better one soon. I hate pictures of myself. Mary.…why do you have to live in Dallas?

the fact that we are twins has nothing to do with out hair color. It was as added bonus but you and I are too much alike for hair color to matter
I love it! Looks great! I’ve thought about this for myself, too, but Drew always looks so aghast whenever I mention going closer to my natural color.
It’s staying blonde for now.
