 Advent Promo

Today I am giving all of you, well those who want it, a Free XL printable Calendar.

Today is a day that could help you cross off a gift from your Christmas gift planner.  A few days ago I had my first Christmas party where I was supposed to bring a $10-$15 gift.  This Christmas season I am trying to be intentional about every gift and be thrifty when I can.  I have a marker board calendar that I bought from Pottery Barn a few years ago and I use it to keep my life organized.  I decided to try and make one for this gift exchange.  There are many ways that you could do this but I thought that the easiest way would be to make one on my computer, have it printed, and framed in a poster frame where the glass would serve as the “marker board”   This is how it turned out.

Markerboard Calendar

It is hard to tell in the picture but its a 18 X 24 large calendar.  Its framed in a glass poster frame from

Michaels.  This is the easiest thing to make and you have a really nice, budget friendly gift to give.  Here is how you make this “marker board like calendar.”

1.)  Download this free Calendar Printable.  Click on the picture or you can download it here.

Note:  I love making these to give you a free gift.  Feel free to download it, give it to your friends, share it, but please don’t reproduce this calendar to sell…thanks!

2.)  Take it to Staples (or send through Staples online ordering center).  Order an engineer print size.  There are three sizes to choose from.  This is formatted to be printed 18X24 poster size.  This was cost you a total of $1.95 (including tax).  If you make your order online you want to make sure that you choose 18 X 24 and check the box to fill the entire page with the uploaded pdf document.  You probably want to mention that to the Staples employee if you take it to the store to be printed.

3.)  Purchase a 18 X 24 poster frame.  You can find poster frames in any major store.  My budget was $15 for this gift but this frame from Amazon
is really nice.  The finish options here are endless! I found my silver 18 X 24 frame at Michaels.  This $24.00 was on sale 30% off and I added an extra 25% off of a sale item coupon that I had on my Michaels Mobile App.  The total cost for the frame was $13.00.

4.)  I had to cut off the edges of the engineer print for it to fit in my frame, but it was super easy using the glass as the template.  Here is my finished product again.

Use a dry erase marker to write on top of the glass and you have a great calendar to keep you organized.  For at exactly $15 I had a really nice Christmas gift to take to my Christmas party.

I hope this free download can help you with your Christmas list this season…or even help you be more organized this upcoming new year.  Stay tuned for another giveaway tommorrow!

Merry Christmas!

Jennifer
